Research & Policy Analysis Overview

Welcome to ACPE’s research & policy analysis home page.  The Research & Analysis Unit at ACPE is a recent expansion of the agency’s previous work to promote education and career training beyond high school, and reflects its commitment to continue that mission.

ACPE’s research mission is to provide relevant, timely and accurate information to education stakeholders – including students, parents, administrators and policy makers – so they can make well-informed decisions.  This includes identifying areas (PDF) where additional research and resources can positively affect educational outcomes for Alaskans, outcomes of current education programs and initiatives to determine their effectiveness, and working with our Alaska research partners to share data.
