Being college and career ready is about more than just wanting to go to college or having a career in mind. It’s about knowing yourself, understanding your options and creating a blueprint for success. To help you in this endeavor, ACPE, Alaska’s Higher Education Agency, has created a variety of publications, online resources and outreach programs designed to help you become college and career ready.

Ensure that you're taking the steps necessary to become College and Career Ready with ACPE's College and Career Prep Checklist. This checklist covers the basic steps that parents and students should begin taking before high school to ensure that students are academically and financially prepared to enter college or vocational training.

 

 

  

Success Center

For free one-on-one assistance with college planning, research, and financial aid documents such as the FAFSA, stop by or call the ACPE Success Center in the Anchorage Dimond Mall. A College and Career Specialist is available on-site MONDAY - THURSDAY 9 am to 12 pm appointment only, 12-5 walk-ins. FRIDAYS 9 am to 5 pm Walk-ins.
