The Alaska Student Aid Portal (ASAP)
Tracking your Alaska Performance Scholarship (APS) and Alaska Education Grant (AEG) application status, eligibility, and usage is as easy as 1, 2, 3, with the Alaska Student Aid Portal (ASAP) account. To create an ASAP account, follow these easy steps.
Login via the myAlaska website. If you do not have a myAlaska account, you can register as a new user. Note: To access your ASAP record, the name used for your myAlaska registration must match the name on your FAFSA.
After logging in to your myAlaska account, select "ACPE Student Aid Portal" from the "Services" menu. Because you must validate your identity using myAlaska authentication, you will be prompted to enter your Alaska state ID, learner's permit, or driver's license information.
After authenticating, you will be redirected to the ASAP. First-time users will be required to complete a one-time registration by entering their social security number and date of birth.
Through the ASAP, you can:
Review your eligibility for an AEG or APS award. Eligibility information, as reported by school districts, is typically available by early August. Remember, students must meet enrollment requirements and continuing eligibility requirements to receive funds.
Verify your award amount. The amount you have been awarded is available in early September, after your institution has certified your enrollment. Funds will be disbursed to your institution.
Track your grant and scholarship use to date, and determine your remaining eligibility.
Update your contact information to ensure grant and scholarship-related notices are sent to your current mailing address.
AEG and APS funds will be disbursed to you directly by your institution. Remember - students must meet enrollment requirements and continuing eligibility requirements to receive funds.
