FAFSA Completion – The Time Is Now!
If you’ve checked out ACPE blog posts before, you know we spend a lot of time talking about the FAFSA – the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It’s not just because it’s got a fun ring to it, it’s because the FAFSA is a critically important step to ensure YOUR postsecondary goals become a reality. And we, at ACPE, want to make sure you know that we are here to help you through the FAFSA completion process from beginning to end!
This year, ACPE’s Outreach Team has created new pathways for students, families, and schools (teachers, counselors, etc.) to receive the guidance and information they need to make completing the FAFSA as easy as possible.
We definitely want to you to check out our updated ACPE’s FAFSA Resources page for all the details, but we’ll give you the highlights here of the new ways that ACPE can help you through the FAFSA!
- FAFSA Wednesdays on ZOOM: Every Wednesday from 3-6 you can pop into ACPE’s Zoom session to get help with your FAFSA
- Youcanbook.me Virtual Appointments: If Wednesdays from 3-6 don’t work for you, you can go to our Youcanbook.me site to make a 1-on-1 appointment to complete your FAFSA
- Alaska Schools/Districts: Schedule FAFSA Time Alaska Events in which ACPE provides you with all the materials and resources you need to host a FAFSA Completion event at your school/in your community
- Materials for Download: Many of ACPE’s financial aid and FAFSA resources are now available for download – including the FAFSA Completion Quick Sheet, APS & AEG Info Cards, APS Checklist, and more
Now is the time to take that next step and complete your FAFSA. And remember, ACPE is here to help every step of the way!
