The Alaska Performance Scholarship (APS) provides an opportunity for Alaska high school graduates to earn a scholarship to help cover the cost of an Alaska postsecondary education. By meeting curriculum, GPA, and testing requirements, Alaskan students may earn the APS to attend qualified Alaska colleges, universities, or career and technical education programs. As confirmed in the Outcomes Report, the APS is a critical component to reduce financial stress and increase the opportunity for Alaskans to attend postsecondary programs.
