ACPE ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE), with support from the University of Alaska, is hosting its first Alaska FAFSA Summit on October 26-27, 2023 at the Marriott Anchorage Downtown. The Summit will bring together education and workforce development stakeholders from secondary and postsecondary institutions, state agencies, community organizations/non-profits, and Alaska Native Education Foundations to develop strategies to increase FAFSA completion through statewide initiatives and/or policies. To register, please click HERE.

On April 1, 2023, the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) transferred the servicing of all ACPE’s Education Loans to American Education Services (AES). AES is a national student loan servicer, with more than 50 years of experience helping borrowers manage and pay off their education loans. Together, ACPE and AES will support Alaskans by providing tools and resources to streamline education loan repayment. For account information or to make a payment, please contact the AES Customer Service Center at 1-800-233-0557. For more information, please review these frequently asked questions.
